It's Wednesday!

 Today is Wednesday and I haven't gotten much accomplished! (yep that is an always statement in my vocabulary!) My house still looks like an explosion of consignment clothes, paint cans (from my kitchen make-over), and just a complete MESS!!!!  My O.C.D. and super tidy hubby is about to go crazy as I am too!!

We went to Little Rock yesterday and I did some much needed errands!  I picked up some things for Lola's Easter basket at Target. She is going to be super excited!  We ate at this new restaurant, All Aboard, and Lola was all giddy about the trains that circled above her head as well as brought her lunch to her at the table! Then we painted pottery.. I think we painted for 2 hours(well maybe not that long but with a 2 year old, 30 minutes in a store where everything is breakable feels like 2 hours, ha) and I feel good about our creations!! After that we went to this amazing fabric store and pieced several different "odd" outfits together for Lola's spring/summer wardrobe! I am one of those people that has to have everything pieced together or I will never put it on her.. If she doesn't have shoes that match or a shirt that is specific I fail to put her in it to wear!

My addiction to Matilda Jane Clothing is getting out of control!  I just can't stop buying!  That stuff is amazing!!!  Now on to Kellys Kids.. Man I wish dressing little kiddos wasn't so much fun!! I have my Kellys Kids trunk next weekend so I will be tied up doing parties!! Yea!!!  And a super confession... I am IN LOVE with Persnickety Clothing!  Guys this is terrible bad!!! I think I am close to finished getting everything for summer!

I might go with this dress for Easter...Not sure!

And then I couldn't pass this up...

I also need to do some serious spring cleaning!! You know the kind you send your husband off with the child and they play while you organize!! YES it is out of control!!

I want to get my kitchen finished and back in working order!  I am broke and spent all my money getting Lola's spring clothes so now I am going to have to figure out how to redo my counter tops on a poor mans budget!   I can't wait to show you the results, I love it already!!

I need to tackle my laundry...no motivation to be found!

I have Lola's big girl dream room in the works!  Oh how that makes me happy!!  This is the look I am going for but keeping the same fabric selection as in her nursery!  Yes I know OVER.THE.TOP. But I love it!!

Well I better get to cleaning up a bit!  So happy for sunshine!  Makes this mommy happy!

Valentines Day and a Birthday!

I wanted to do a quick post about our Valentines Day!  It was such a fun day in the mix of a very tearful week. I mean to tell you satan was attacking!!  My family lost a very dear friend, my grandmother fell and broke her arm, Ryan and I didn't mesh well, and much much more.  Putting all that aside Lola and I enjoyed our much needed alone time together! We did so much in preparation of Valentines Day and here are a few pictures to share!!!

We got up on Tuesday and headed to Chick Fli A.. First we took a few pictures!!

They were serving heart shaped biscuits! 

She played a little and then we headed to Wal-Mart and got a few things to make for Ryan...

We made Daddy strawberry cake balls!

They turned out super cute and yummy!!

Then we put our Valentines together for when Daddy came home.

I learned a lot about "Heart Day" ...  1. Ryan isn't to hip about sweets... basic is what he likes.  I made chocolate covered strawberries, pretzels and cake balls.. what did he eat?!  The pretzels and didn't touch the strawberries.. ha go figure and he only ate one cake ball... The saying "a way to get to a man's heart is through  his stomach" well that doesn't work for my hubby! ha   2. I can cook... I really don't like the mess it makes but I do love the way everything I make taste! 3.  Lola loves tutu's haha  She thought she was something else in her tutu!

Then this weekend we went to my moms to celebrate my little sisters birthday!  She is growing up!!! I just love her and so blessed to have her in my life!

I have been so focused on getting Lola's closet ready for spring!  So excited about all her new things!!! I have her possible Easter dress purchased, first pair of shoes, and her things I bought on sale last year all hung in her closet!  It has been hard getting rid of her sweet things... We also got our first set of panties to start.....Potty Training..... Oh my I hope I am ready.
