Pumpkin patch trip #2

Last Friday started a grand weekend!  Lola is really starting to talk, learn more and well she is just growing up!  I never thought she would talk or start wanting to "learn" so to speak, but I am starting to see a different path FINALLY!!!  Her new thing right now is "roar" which means Beauty and the Beast!  When I say someone is crazy about "roar" she really is.. We watch it about 5 times a day.  She doesn't sit right in front of the TV but she wants it on all day!

She is also in this phase right now where everything is "mine" and it is about to drive this momma CRAZY!!!  I have talked with other mommas and they say it is just a phase... Lord help me!  This is her pushing around the candy bowl.  She was protecting it with her life! haha I just have to laugh at these moments!

And she is obsessed with MONEY!!!! She just can't seem to get enough money!! She expects everyone who whips out a wallet to give her money!  It's funny but I have to break her from this soon or I am going to be broke!!! ha  She found her Disney money bag and broke into it and crammed as much money as she could in her pockets before I found her, then tried to give me a penny in lieu of punishment!

On Saturday Ryan was off!  We originally had pictures scheduled but they got cancelled so we took advantage of that time and headed to Scott!  We ate at Cotham's and headed to the pumpkin patch to play!  We took Lola's Poppa and Nana along with us and we all had a blast!  It was a great day!!!

Fall, Finally

We have had a pretty awesome fall so far.  I think fall is a little confused with summer!  I am ready for cooler weather so we can break out our fun fall attire!  Today it is drizzling and damp outside so we are staying in... Great time to catch up, RIGHT?!  

I took Lola to the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago.  She had a great time!  I think I am gearing towards building a house in the country rather than fixing up our "city" home.  Lola is in LOVE with animals and I have always dreamed of having a horse and cows (maybe add a few chickens and hens in there too!) She wanted to stay with these horses the entire time we were visiting the pumpkin patch.  She didn't want much to do with the idea of picking out a pumpkin (see a few picture down and you will get my point.) We are hoping to go back tomorrow and pick a few pumpkins to place on our front porch!

Last week was the state fair!  I LOVE fairs! The food, people watching (that is worth the whole trip) and animals makes of a great time!  Lola wouldn't have ANYTHING to do with the rides so we headed on over to visit the petting farm.  Lola was in HEAVEN!!!  It melts my heart to see her care so much for all the little animals.  She wanted to feed them,  pet them and boss them!  Yep bossing is her talent these days!
