Pure Sweetness!

And once again I have been so busy that blogging has been put on the back burner!  I get so sad when I get behind on writing post because blogging means more than just updating my life, I usually get caught up with everyone else!  I love to read about other people (yeah I am crazy) but I get much satisfaction to know that other children thrown temper tantrums and other mommies have rough days...I don't feel so alone in the world!  We have been SUPER busy!  I live a crazy, busy life.  I mean I am on the go all the time.  I am getting so frustrated with the fact that I can't make it ANYWHERE on time!  I am not kidding when I say that I put Lola in the car and  get ready to back out to find that I forgot my cell phone on the bar or my wallet on the table. UGGGGGGG I just can't get things together sometime to make it out of the door and then I feel defeated which leads me to getting short and angry when deep down I am happy!  So I am going to TRY and focus on being on time(however this morning we were 10 minutes late to church, there is next Sunday!!!!)


To catch up we came back from Florida last Saturday which turned into a nightmare... There was some mess-ups with the airlines and we had to sit at the SMALL Destin airport for 5 hours, yep you heard me 5 HOURS!!!  With a toddler that was the longest 5 hours!  I considered flying to Florida when we go back in 2 weeks but I just don't want to take the risk of that happening to us again.  My parents made it back to LR before we did...  I wish I would have taken pictures of the "play area" I made for Lola.  It was just crazy.

We did have a good time in Florida.  It was good to visit with my sister and niece.  Lola wasn't so sure about someone else loving on her Gigi.  She sort of had a rough week.  (And I have noticed her molars are cutting through so that could explain her accelerated level of whining!) Sad to say but I guess she isn't a beach type of girl.  If you know Lola she wants to be busy ALL THE TIME!  I guess we will be checking out all what Destin has to offer BUSY toddlers when we return, because the beach just isn't this little girls thing!

I guess we went to Florida for some pool time!

One night we went to The Crab Trap for dinner.  I tasted, for the first time, crab legs and they were yummy!  Lola and Hannah enjoyed the jungle gym before and after dinner!

When we got home (finally) we still had a bit of a weekend planned!  We headed to my bestie's house for a cookout and some much needed friend time!

The girls all dressed a like!  I know they will HATE us one day for doing this to them but we are eating it up while we can!

 These pictures just make me laugh!  I mean we literally tired for a good 5 minutes to get them to smile! ha

 We all went swimming after dinner and had a great time!
