Its be a while since I blogged last so to fill you all in here are a few(sorry that is a little bit of an exaggeration) pictures!
Last Tuesday we finally made it back to our normal routine playgroup. We all went to Jump Zone and Lola wasn't to sure about the HUGE inflatable play ground. While I was talking with other moms she did sneak off and I found her attempting to check what the whole fuss was about!
Then she wanted so badly to put Baby Brilie's shoe on!
And sorry poor Baby Kinley, Lola is having flash back moments, she loved her car seat like this!! But she loves every car seat that she can buckle!
Then on Thursday we all went over to our friends Ashley and Addi's house to check out their new and improved backyard and to play! We had a blast! I have no idea why, but Lola wanted to play inside so bad...
I feel so bad but I haven't taken any pictures of Lola here lately... So I got my camera out and took a few pictures today. She has been so much fun here recently! Her new things is Barney. And she loves this car seat and insists on you to buckle her in while she watches Barney! She cracks me up!!!
And then the sad sad news.... Des Arc is flooding. If you don't know where I live, you will find my town on the banks of the White River. Due to so much rain and a few levees breaking up north, we are at flood state levels and many homes have been lost due to such a high amounts of water. Please keep these families in your prayers. Crews have been working LONG hours trying to save lives, homes and businesses. These pictures don't do the high amounts of water justice. It is just unbelievable. My heart just breaks for all the families that packed up and moved to only go back in a few weeks and find their homes ruined. I just can't imagine. Someone reminded me the other day that all of that is "stuff" and "stuff" can be replaced. It has taken me back a few steps and made me reevaluate where my heart lies. I need to redirect my heart and remember to not store treasures here on earth but to store treasures in heaven.
The water isn't as high as it is supposed to get. Friday or Saturday it is supposed to reach its highest point.
These are the steps that take you down to the parking area for the boat ramp. There is a road WAY down there!!!
Thank you God for everything you have blessed me with and I pray you will lift all these families up each and every day. Amen!
We, along with our neighbors, went for a walk to see how high the water had reached. This is a street and can you see how high the water is from the street signs? Its crazy!
Lola passed out on the way home!
