The thing in our house that seems to add up the fastest is dishes! These kids can eat and David and I aren't shy around food either, so needless to say (again)...dishes get out of control. Acutally, laundry probably adds up the fastest, but let's not talk about that because David does laundry around here...
Anyway, back to dishes...I simply commit to loading the dishwasher as the day goes, as we use the dishes. I don't even lay them in the sink because once they are in the sink, they WILL inevitably stay there. At night, it has become a habit to check the dishwasher and if the dishwasher is full enough to start, I start it and head to bed and if not, I add the next day's dishes to it before I start it the following night. Not a very original idea, but I hope it helps or encourages or something...? ;)

I'm the last person you wanna hear from on how to be organized or have a clean home! My house is gross. :) But my kid is fed and mostly clean and happy, so that's gotta count for something, right? ;)
