Hello 2011

Our new year started out with a best friend visit!

My very best friend lives an hour away and I try to see her once a week (yes I know its beyond silly) but throughout December our visits turned into short phone calls to say "hi, I just need to hear your voice, ok bye." She has been studying for her boards (in which she passed) and that meant every last second she had, she was occupied. I have felt so deprived:( Then Christmas came along and we were again busy then finally a day we had nothing on our schedule...

I will say I started my year off right! We sewed a little that morning, went on a Sonic run (for happy hour of course) and then dinner at her parents! Lola and Kendal had a blast playing together! I mean they played HARD!!! I just love watching them play together!

For dinner, we had pork chops, black-eyed-peas (I have learned you are supposed to eat them on New Years) and corn bread! Everything was delicious!

Happy New Year Everyone! I really don't have any resolutions... Is that ok? I am going to attempt to become more frugal (I just can't seem to resist buying Lola clothes, yes I will save $60 on my grocery bill to then take the change and buy her something... I know shame on me) and more organized and to not become over booked. I will say I am going to ONLY attempt...no promises!
