Longest Post EVER...

Well I must say I have missed blogging. It once was in my daily routine, but not having a camera puts a damper on things. These past few weeks have been crazy busy(that is my norm I must admit) but has included some fun and memorable times!

I will start off by saying I love my new camera. I am now a proud owner of a Canon T1i and I love it! We got a deal (well I mean not much of one but enough to convince my husband we needed to jump on it before it goes back full price.) I am now going to have to practice to improve my game! There are so many setting and I take multiple pictures because I am used to having to hold the button down 5 seconds to capture the moment that already came and went. So I am doing a lot of picture deleting haha! But I am so thankful we finally have a nice camera!!!

I have also been busy decorating! I have started working with Ryan's cousin who actually decorates HUGE BEAUTIFUL homes all over central Arkansas as his occupation! Yeah he is what they call a professional! ha! I am actually going with him again tomorrow and I will have a camera this time to show off our work! But aside working with him I have done a few side jobs here and there! I have only taken pictures of my tree and my moms.

Thanksgiving was fun as usual! We woke up and turned the TV onto the parade and Lola was very much involved. It was so cute! My grandma and Aunt flew down from Colorado and a few other people came over, so the house was over flowing with friends and family... Holidays are so much fun!

This was the storm we drove through on Thanksgiving morning...

A little fall decor picture before I tore it down...

I am so thankful to have a family!!!

Happy Turkey day everyone

Last but not least here are a few pictures of my girl! She is getting to big for her britches! I could just eat her personality up everyday!

Ready to tackle some Christmas shopping

Helping in the kitchen!

She was crying for my grandma to open the pantry and when she did, Lola went straight of the bag of marshmallows...She knew exactly what she wanted...Someone has introduced them to her and I'm not sure who the culprit is but when I find out.... WATCH OUT!!! ha

My little stinker ready to go play

But mom... this is her new face
This doll is my little sisters American Girl doll. I found it and Lola was beside herself. She kept giving it hugs and carrying it around. It is as big as she is!

Ouch!

There hasn't been very many post here lately BECAUSE.... The camera is broke! Such a bitter-sweet moment but I'm so excited to get a new camera! My cute little camera was Ryan and I first purchase as a married couple. It was such a good camera and it will (and already is) be missed. With that being said, I need help! Do any of you have a suggestion as to what camera I should get? I am in search for a SLR Nikon or Canon... SUGGESTIONS/OPINIONS!!!!????

Give a gift

This the season to be jolly!
This is a big step for me. I am not the one to step out and promote myself. I am a bit shy (believe it or not) and the things I make and do are strictly by word of mouth. BUT I got the guts to post some of the things I sell in attempt to build up my confidence. So here is it...the post to show everyone (I know not a lot of people read this but maybe it will get out there) a few things I make. If you can't find anything for those few people in your family who have everything think "homemade" this year! If you are interested or want to see more of my "side" business/hobby click HERE to check it out! My email is there on my blog or check out my facebook page "The Sassy Polkadot" and send me a message!

Enjoy! Oh and to the locals scroll down for some pictures of a few decorations I did last year! I have a few spots left if you need help or if you just want to sit back and have someone else do the decorating labor. Send me an email... Sarakat85@yahoo.com or message me on FB!
