I don't know what to put...

Last night Lola and I took our neighbors dinner. Their daughter is my next door neighbor and their grand daughter is the little girl, Sadie, that Lola is attached to and loves. Mrs. Helen had knee replacement about a month ago and I have been meaning to take dinner over ever since, but this would come up or that would come up so I have been putting it off... Since Ryan hasn't been here I thought it would be a good time to cook and do a little fellowship! I loaded all the food up in Lola's stroller and we all walked down the street to deliver our meal.

Yummy mexican: Taco's, cheese-dip, and chocolate chip cookies for dessert.

She didn't feel well at all so this was how she was the whole night.

She let Sadie pull her around the house

But she wasn't sick enough to love on Sadie Beth

Well this morning we got up and Lola was running a fever AGAIN... I called the doctor and they got me in to recheck her ears and to try and figure out why she was still running fever. They called me back for an appoinment for 11:10am and at this time it was 9:30am. We live an hour away from the doctor and I hadn't even showed yet. I took a record shower and got ready in 30 minutes. I didn't look up to par but I did try!
Waiting on the doctor, she didn't feel well at all:(

They had to clean her ear out, YUCK!
They put her on a different antibiotic and gave her some pain medicine to drop in her ear. On top of that her other ear was infected as well, so stronger medicine test trial tonight!
After some medicines we had to stop by Kroger to #1 get some groceries and #2 I am addicted to seeing how much I can save on my grocery bill. This time I saved $47 dollars and some change.

I got all this for $80 dollars: (some things are hidden)
Detergent, bounce sheets, fabric softener, milk for Lola and I, meat, breakfast items, dinner rolls, snacks and much more. I am so addicted!

They gave this to Lola, I thought it was cute. She wore that sticker and was proud!

Today was a long day! We came home and had a simple dinner and just played and I tried to get some things done but that didn't happen. Lola and I read some books (I bought her a new one today for $1 and she already tore it) went on a walk and just hung out! Love my little ball of joy! I hope she feels better soon!

Come on sickness please say good-bye!

Lola has been sick all weekend but we still attempted to go to 2 birthday parties (that makes a total of like 7 in the past few months) a shopping trip (where I bought 2 pairs of shoes for $20 bucks) and church (we had to leave early on both attempts.) She was running fever all weekend and I feel bad because I didn't know she was running fever when I took her around the state. I thought after antibiotics things got better, NOT... She had fever again this morning but she seems to be better after her morning nap. With all that being said I have gotten so much done already this morning. I told Ryan that I would have the house all clean when he returns home from his farming trip. So here I am blogging when i should be cleaning. We had a pretty good weekend laying aside our sickness!

Lola at Addi's birthday. It was the sweetest birthday party... click here to see how cute it was!

Shoe shopping that turned sour because my sister bailed out on us and Lola was so tired and not feeling well.
Brylee's birthday party, playing with her friend Greenleigh

She loved this tug boat
Our attempt to church. This is Lola with her Poppa, she loves him more than I think he knows...

Hope you all have a good day!

Sick baby

To start off my post, here is a sweet picture of my babies reading... PRICELESS!

Well today was a LONG day. Lola was up early and cranky doesn't even cut how she was acting. I couldn't hold her, put her down, rock her, play with her, or do anything to help her but she didn't seem to have fever. She even got to the point that she started to play (She was running a fever last night so I gave her motrin which allowed her to sleep, FINALLY!) YES, I thought everything was better and she had gone back down for a morning nap, but when she got up I noticed she was moving a bit slower. By this point her fever had come back and she was just cranky cranky cranky! I called the doctor and they got me in this afternoon. So I loaded Lola up and we headed to Little Rock. We finally see the doctor after waiting in a 8x8 room for 30 minutes with a screaming, ready to leave child for her to tell me Lola had an ear infection and a sinus infection. My sweet baby has been so healthy and I have been so blessed so I guess its her turn to get sick... We then went to Target to get her meds and back home for a easy dinner at the Dairy Bar. I have been trying to catch up from being busy ALL week! BREATH!!! haha but I love my life and I am so thankful I am able to do all that I do! Thank you LORD!

Back tracking a little, yesterday we had a play date with our new friends Ashely and Addie! I guess Lola was starting to feel bad yesterday because all she wanted to do was sleep and cry. We got to their home and Addie was ALL play! They had fun and I had fun helping Ashely decorate for Addie's big birthday bash! Can't wait till her party tomorrow!!! Bring on the cake!

Chick Fli A lunch. Terrible picture but Ashely looks super cute!!! Addie cracks me up with all her facial expressions! That girl could write a book with all the expressions she has. She is so full of life it makes me just happy looking at pictures of her! Thanks Addie for being so sweet! Click here if you need a sweet pick me up, Addie will bring a smile to any face!

The gave the girls a cow!

Addie waking Lola up!

I hope we are a little better tomorrow! We have to head back to Little Rock for Addie's birthday party then meeting up with my bestie and sweet Kendal Grace!

Fall time BABY!!!

The smell of fall is filling every ounce of space in my home. Pumpkin Spice burning, Leaves hanging, pumpkin on the door, and fall outfits filling the closets. YES IT FALL! That also means harvest time. Ryan and the guys are out cutting once again and picking their last crop, beans! Lola and I have been here and there trying to get all my fall decor lined out. I'm so excited about everything. I still lack the pumpkins I am having made with our name on it... BUT on top of everything I feel like I have lost of box of fall decor, but I suddenly remember Lucy, our d0g, getting a hold of a TON of fall decorations last year. I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and picked up a few things but I still feel like it's not all together like I want it to be. Everything is picked over and it is all being pushed aside to make way for the Christmas stuff(yeah I am super excited about Christmas decor!) So I am going to just wait until next year and add something each year!

Well I have been sewing a little. My mom has helped me catch up on a lot of projects that I haven't had time to finish. Here are a few of the pants I made. My mom helped me and I made two of the three all by myself(there is a little pat on the back.) Slowly but surely I am getting the hang of this whole sewing thing. I think it is so crazy that "homemade" clothes are coming back in style. It is all the sudden cute to make your own fashion... Lola has a lot of homemade things and I'm super proud when I take her places and I can say "Yes I made that." But I couldn't have done it without the help from my mom, THANKS!!!

Aren't these pants cute!!!

Lola's fall shoes.. They have shoe strings...She is growing up before my very own eyes....
Cute pillowcase shirt mom made for Lola.

Here are my Duck Duck Goose finds... Not much but I did try.

Welcome fall decor!!!

I just love my front door! It turned out cute I thought!

Thats all for today! Have a great hump day!

Play date with Eastyn

We had a friend come and play today. They had a blast and Lola learned how to climb up the back of the slide and slide down! Take a look! Thanks Eastyn for coming and playing with us!

A lost camera= no posts in a while

Well I lost my camera for a few days and my mom found it (I was hoping it was history because I want a new camera so bad I can't stand it.) So again sorry I haven't posted anything here lately! We have been enjoying some time with Ryan as they have a little down time between cutting crops.
Some things we have done here lately,
I have decorated for fall but I haven't finished so I will post pictures soon!

Ryan and I went out to dinner with my besties last Friday for pizza! We had the best time! Check these jeans out... baby Wranglers! (her daddy has cows so she had to have some of these right?)

Lola with her girlfriends!!! They will be best friends I just know it!

Muffins for breakfast! I love mornings like these! Look at those crumbs all over her mouth!

Eating Chick Fli A with Daddy and Uncle J! Lola is dressed up for football day!

Thursday we went out for some shopping at the consignment sale Duck Duck Goose and then Mistletoe Merchants. Duck Duck Goose wasn't very good at all. I don't see the thrill in consignment sales where the clothes look like they have been passed down for years and they still want what I could get them for at the stores after season. The smell of 40 different laundry detergents and wrinkled worn out items just don't fit my fancy. Don't get me wrong I'm all about saving a penny and if you only knew how long I spent cutting coupons and price shopping you would see how tight I am but there is just something about a consignment sale that rubs me the wrong way. I did get Lola a pair of GAP blue jeans with tags still on them for $8 bucks and a dress that is a boutique brand for $5 bucks that I had my mom put her name on it so I didn't come out empty handed. I will post pictures of them when I get the dress back from my mom! Then it was on to Mistletoe Merchants which is a knock off of The Holiday House and this year they had more vendors but, last year it had this childrens discount clothing that had name brand smocked clothing for super cheap but it wasn't there so I was a bit sad. I got Lola a new bracelet for Christmas and my mom got a few things too! I don't get as much enjoyment at these shows anymore because my mom makes all the cute monogrammed things these days so I just get them from her. She has the new monogrammer that is out of this world awesome! If you want to check out her items (Ill be honest she can do anything, so this site doesn't do her justice,) click here. They did have some neat things and I got some ideas for fun Christmas outfits for Lola! Yea bring on the Holidays!
Lola was annoyed about picture taking by this time. We tried several times to take a picture but either she wasn't looking or my eyes were closed so this is what you get...
Lola just wants to run these days... So again this is what you get!

Us lately! A little catch up! Sorry

To start off this incredibly long post, Saturday was where it all begins... it was a lazy day. I gave a little sewing lesson in the morning, and then we headed to my mom's for the afternoon. Ryan got an opportunity to go to the Razorback game so we just hung out. I put Lola in her stAte outfit (we are a little partial to ASU) but it was the only thing sports like that I could find. We hit up Kohl's then went back to my moms house for a little sewing. I learned how to make ruffle pants. Yea I can't wait to show all hers off!

Sunday we went to church then came home and cleaned and just hung out with Ryan!

Monday, Labor day, we hit the zoo with my bestie! We had so much fun! I know we go to the zoo a lot but it is a nice outlet for Lola and I to get out and stroll around! We then ate Chick-Fli-A and headed to the mall for a little retail fun! Ryan scored at Banana Republic with a pair of Khaki's for $15 bucks. I not so much, found a pair of shoes for Lola. Why is it that I find my self handing over the cash for her when I am in the one in need for clothing. I am so in love with cute childrens clothes, SUCKER I know! I am eating all this cute stuff up now because I know there will be a day when she informs me that bows are not cool and neither are ruffles! But with a few more purchases that I know I will be making, I think I have a pretty good start for fall clothes. We met my mom and family at Flying Fish that night for dinner! So yummy to my tummy! We took Lola down by the river for a long walk, she ran until she couldn't run anymore...

Tuesday, Lola had a doctor appointment. She did so well. I have to brag on her a little. Although she is only in the 8th percentile for her weight she is growing like a weed and such a healthy little blessing. She now weighs 18.5 lbs. and is in the 63rd percentile for her height. She talked for the doctor and I was so proud. I felt like I just won a gold metal when she said "cracker" and took one out of the bag. I know the doctor could read my overwhelming "proud parent" look that was on my face. Then came the shots and well it wasn't so bad. She cried for a second, got a little mad at the nurse, then we talked about it, put her clothes back on and she walked out of the clinic jabbering it up and refusing to hold my hand. So needless to say I don't think she cared that she was stuck 4 times. We then headed for a bite of lunch. We met up for a short lunch with a blogger, Ashley Eichhorn, I met through a friend. We had a great visit and it ended with my child throwing a fit. I was so nervous about meeting her and I think Lola could tell. She wasn't the best but there is always a second chance (if she dares to meet us again.) Her little girl was so sweet and well behaved then there was my "all over the place" child. If Lola doesn't have her nap she just isn't up to par and I want to pull my hair out. So we will try again another time when we can take the girls somewhere to let them get down and play. Later that evening I had a Matilda Jane Clothing trunk show in which was a lot of fun! Lola got some cute new outfits as well as me too! I can't wait to take her pictures in them!

And as for today we just hung out! It has been raining here so we had the afternoon with Ryan!

Hope you all had a great weekend and I have to go to bed, Lola will be up and ready to play before I know it! I have a Kellys Kids party tomorrow night and lunch with my in-laws. Going to be an exciting day!

She has learned how to "kiss"
Gigi
picking up rocks. She will be selling them on the side of the road before we know it... It brought us a couple extra buck back in the day!

GNO

I had a Girls Night Out at my house last Friday night and I honestly have to say I forgot I could have that much fun. What I loved the most about the night was we didn't even have to gossip to have fun. We all talked and talked till we literally dropped. My best friend from home came down and then a friend I have met (the world is truly small) came too! They brought their girls and we went to dinner and then came home put them to bed and stayed up till 2am! I don't think I have seen 2 am in a long time! We decided to make hair bows for our girls and the next morning we got up and made pancakes that were out of the world delicious. I can't wait to have another GNO but the men will have baby duty for sure.
All of our masterpieces!

My masterpieces!
While we cooked pancakes Lola sat down for 5 minutes to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (she only enjoys the intro then off to the next thing.)
