We will miss you Colorado

Lola and I went to Colorado for 10 days to visit family and take a break from our everyday routine. We had fun and Lola brought lots of smiles to some new faces. We started off our trip by celebrating my birthday at this fabulous Italian Restaurant that brought your jaws to watering. The food was amazing and the family fellowship was priceless. I can't wait to go back to that place and get stuffed mushrooms, they were out of this world.

We then went to the zoo before we took a break for a week to look after my grandma.

During the week Lola mastered rolling over and now she is unstoppable. She is on the floor-go! She cut two teeth, and can sit up, OH and can talk your head off with words never heard of.. AKA.. "Lola Language"... Where has all the time gone, I just gave birth to her.

Friday was a blast after dinner at Dixons and 4th row seat to the Avalanche game. I could smell the ice! Saturday we hit the mall, yes we were there ALL DAY!!! The night ended with my favorite Chipotle Mexican for dinner! (Subway style only Mexican way!)

Sunday was a bit bittersweet. The week was long but we had so many memories... Some good and some not so good. We said goodbye to Colorado and my family... I wish we didn't live so far but I hope to see them soon! Good bye Colorado we will be back soon, Hello Hubby we missed you so!

I was so surprised and I couldn't be happier.. Here are a few pictures from the night! Thanks everyone for making my 25th birthday one I will never forget!

Let it Snow Let it Snow Let it Snow

Well It snowed in Des Arc but it didn't stay for long... It was nice while it lasted though... We took Lola out for a quick picture but she didn't like the cold at all... I hope she gets used to it because we are Colorado bound in 2 weeks!

Sleepless nights

Dear Lola,
Mommy and Daddy are at their best when they have received a good nights rest.
Fighting sleep is a tough battle that could easily be won if you would just settle.
We love our baby we want you to know but we can't keep fighting this sleepless glow.
The black circles that round mommy's eyes are not allow to stay and need to say goodbye.
So you if don't mind to just close your eyes we could all enjoy a little quiet time!
We will try again tonight and give it another try come on Lola, kiss fighting sleep goodbye!

Love,
Mommy
