Go stAte!

Last Saturday we ventured up to Jonesboro for ASU Homecoming. We honestly had a blast. We met up with some of our dear friends and just had some great fellowship. Lola was so sweet the whole day and slept through the crowds screaming and banging on the stands. Although it was a long and exhausting day we all enjoyed the time away from the small farm town that dominates a lot of our time... Here are a few pictures from the day!

All bundled up!

First Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday and it was a blast! Some girls from Des Arc went over and made a great day of the lovely weather! Lola is wearing a dress my mom made and it was great for pictures! Ryan wasn't able to go with us but we had fun anyway! Here are just a few memories!

Race for the Cure 2009

The night before we borrowed a car seat that fit into the jogging stroller. We had to get it all ready. I tried it out and it worked and she was content!

All ready to go!

All snuggled up the her car seat!

Doctor visit #2

Our second doctor visit went much better than the first. I wasn't sure about our doctor but after we went back I was very impressed. Things are looking up for us! She is off her heart monitor and has gained about a pound and a half. We have a little monster on our hands. She holds her head up for a good amount of time, focuses on objects, recognizes my voice, and well the list goes on. I am so blessed to have such an awesome little girl. We did talk about acid reflux. She had been spitting up a lot and it was projectile. I felt sorry for her cause she would just cry after she spit up like it hurt. So the doctor put her on some meds to see if it would help. She also thinks Lola has an allergy to milk. She said that since it happened so young she would be more than likely to grow out of it. YEA!!! I have a hard time drinking milk so I hope she can grow out of it and enjoy the products of a cow!! haha Well I was very pleased with everything concerning Lola during her visit. She got her shots and did really well! She cried of course but not for long. We go back in December for another round of shots and a check-up, hope it goes as well as this last visit!

Lola has expressions!

I can't get enough! It brings tears to my eyes every time I see this picture! I thought I would share it with you.

7 Weeks

7 Weeks

Lola is already 7 weeks. How does the time fly by so fast! She is talking (well you know how babies talk) and smiling more and more. We are hitting mile stones left and right! I pray she continues to be healthy! Thank you Lord for such a blessing!

The Tutu

Need I say more...I had to break out the tutu! She didn't like me messing with her so out "photo session" didn't last long. Between the lack of talent, pitiful camera, and her being fussy this is the only picture worth posting!

All Smiles

FINALLY! Its here! Lola has officially smiled. This isn't the best picture but I got the end of the ear to ear smile. It brought tears to my eyes. She has smiled before but its never been because someone was talking to her and she was responding. We are checking off one developmental skill after another. God love our little baby!

My Little Leopard

I couldn't pass this outfit up! The leopard dress is so cute! So we had to take some photos.
